Computer Telephony Integration, or known as CTI is a technology that allows a phone system to connect to a computer programmes such as outlook, Sage, google contacts, sales force etc or also known as a CRM (customer relationship management) to help businesses cut down call handling time, boost agent efficiency and performance, maximise customer experience and increase revenues on a number of levels.

Computer integration bridges the gap between communicating your software (CRM) for example Microsoft Outlook with your phone which in turn makes call handling simpler and quicker. For example if I want to make a call from a contact in outlook you simply click your computer mouse on the contacts numbers and the phone automatically makes the call.
